Postcards from Here: Finding What Works for All of Us
A glimpse of life lately and few things I’m loving and noticing
Last week, we finally tried a new café near our home, and it turned out to be everything our family needed.
Great coffee and tea. Really good food. A large, enclosed play area where the kids could play while my husband and I actually sat and talked. An outdoor patio to get some air if things inside were too loud.
As a family, it can be hard to find places that work for all four of us. It felt good to discover somewhere that gave each of us a little of what we needed.
We came home full from good food, good conversation, play, and the joy of trying something new.

Welcome to The K. Cole List: a collection of things I am loving, noticing, thinking about, and doing lately.
Wise. Making life across countries easier with lower foreign exchange fees and an extra layer of protection for our primary debit card. (Referral link—we may both receive a benefit if you sign up.)
Samosas from Woolworths. Almost anything from Woolies is delicious, but the samosas have been a favorite lately.
Birds singing loudly outside. One of my favorite sounds to wake up to.
Adding two new client projects. A reminder to celebrate the work that is finding its way to me in this season of experimentation.
The Finch self-care app. My daughter uses it too and holds me accountable for checking in (which is very helpful and super cute).
Visiting art supply stores. Especially ones with a graffiti canvas that invites you to leave your own mark.
